Operation Officer

ASEAN Statistical Capacity Programme (Jakarta), an EU financed project implemented by
GOPA and GTZ IS, seeking an Operation Officer with the TOR below:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader
of the technical assistance team and in cooperation with the financial officer,
he/she will carry out the following tasks:

* Administrative support to the long term experts (LTE): support for reporting, preparation of presentations, organisation of programme events.
* Support in the preparation and follow-up of the administrative requests to the ASEAN Secretariat and the European Commission Delegation in Jakarta, in coordination with GOPA Headquarters: approval of the terms of reference and CV of short term experts (STE), mission requests.

* Support to the organisation and follow-up of the technical assistance missions of the long term experts (LTE) and short term experts (STE) in the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Member Countries (AMS): terms of reference approval, visa request, travel, accommodation, appointments, and collection of time sheets, reports and supporting documents.

* Facilitation of the workshops, meetings, training courses and study tours: visa, travel and accommodation of the participants, provision of the meeting facilities and supporting documentation.

* Communication of the Programme: coordination of the preparation, production and dissemination of the Publications (quarterly newsletters, media releases, technical publications); updating of the programme web-site.

* Contacts with the Programme partners as regards the implementation of the previous activities.

* Support to the programme office in Jakarta: management of the programme filing system, provision of stationeries, etc.
