GHD services commissioned for the Indonesia Infrastructure Reconstructions Enabling Program (IREP) – Infrastructure Program Management (IPM) for the Agency for Reconstruction and Rehabilitation for Aceh and Nias (BRR). GHD is currently seeking Technical Assistant Program Management (MIS) to be based in Banda Aceh. For more information please visit www.ghd.com.au
DUTY STATEMENT:
Lead, coordinate and supervise MIS Team activities (Database, Website & GIS).
Represent MIS team at regular team meetings as required
Provide regular reporting on MIS activities and progress as required
Create, update, maintain & verify the IPM Database as the central repository of all the main IREP/IRFF digital data. Act as database administrator.
As required work with Program Management to regularly review data storage and reporting requirements and design and implement changes to the database structre as required
Prepare the MIS database for export to other users after determining user requirements and formats
Coordinate and supervise MIS Team activities (Database, Website & GIS)
Coordinate data gathering and IREP / IRFF Information Management with Program Management, Procurement & other IREP (2,3,4,5) consultants and Government database sources to get updated IRFF progress and related information
Review output reports from MIS staff and monitor ongoing requirements. Design reporting formats and produce custom reports as required.
Additional Reporting Tasks (eg. formats as below, which may change over time): --
– Create database & summary reports for BRR Donor Fund (PHLN) packages.
– Assisting Program Management in producing Infrastructure
– KPI reports for BRR, Progress reports for PU.
– Reports for RPPR
Other duties as directed
Special Conditions of the Assignment: -
After hours duty at times may be needed to meet urgent deadlines
Field trips within NAD – Nias and to Jakarta and Medan may be required
Qualifications: University Degree in IT, Information Management, Engineering or Science
Experience : Experience in managing database projects, database administration, GIS
Experience in programming databases (SQL, Access etc)
Experience in Web-based reporting and Web-site management (desirable)
English Language and Microsoft Office skills
