JAKARTA

1. Operation Admin - Operation
The Operation Admin responsible in assisting the Admin Supervisor in smooth flow of day to day operations, directly responsible for facilitating the general office management aspects of Mercy Corps’s Jakarta. Works closely with Program, Procurement and Finance in instrumental program support activities through his/her involvement.

Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years experience with office administration;
· computer skills are required,
· must be an independent thinker and have strong organizational skills;
· demonstrated experience scheduling and managing staff from multiple departments;
· fluency in English is a benefit

This position is for 4 months employment status.

2. MFI Grants Manager – Economic Development
The MFI Grants Manager is responsible the grant (fund) components under this program for MFIs and other Mercy Corps partners, ensuring that it is designed, marketed, delivered and monitored in a way that adheres to Mercy Corps policies and meets program objectives. The MFI Grants Manager ensures that all grants are in compliance and monitor payments, prepares program narrative reports and provides overall grant management and close-out. The MFI Grants Manager also maintains a database related to grantees and their performance, to be developed with program management, and assists in overall program reporting related to this database. The MFI Grants Manager works in cooperation with the management team to set objectives and ongoing programming related to grant/fund activities.

Qualifications:

Significant previous work experience with an NGO in the area of grant management and/or microfinance is required, with vendor management experience a plus;
Knowledge and understanding of financial statements and financial reporting preferred;
Demonstrated ability to provide administrative leadership and stewardship for large-scale programming;
Demonstrated report writing skills;
Very strong computer (MS Office) and organizational skills, with prior database management experience;
Willingness to travel throughout the project areas;
Experience with monitoring and evaluation a plus;
Previous experience developing and implementing projects;
Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically;
Fluency in both verbal and written English communication;
Demonstrated high standards of professionalism, stewardship, objectivity, discretion, sound judgment, and attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work independently and cooperatively with team members.

Padang

1. Community Project Engineer - DRR
Community Project Engineer is responsible for planning, surveying, preparing design and estimates and drawing of various civil engineering projects, developing project implementation strategies, monitoring progress and reporting, ensuring quality/quantity of construction materials, supervising infrastructure projects, and coordinating with community/contractors, program teams and key stakeholders (i.e. Kogami, DPTs and Government). Community Project Engineer will provide overall technical input and ensure pre-determined quality engineering standards are met during and at the end of each project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering or relevant engineering experience with minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with community members, contractors and labors.
Relevant training in construction technology preferred.
Satisfactory level of written & spoken in English and Local Language
Computer skills in Word, Excel and Auto-Cad are required.
Experience in implementing community based projects including for construction and infrastructure works
Area knowledge of West Sumatra province

This position is for 6 months employment status.


2. Site Engineer – DRR
Site Engineer will support Community Project Engineer and responsible for planning, surveying, preparing design and estimates and drawing of various civil engineering projects, developing project implementation strategies, ensuring quality/quantity of construction materials, supervising infrastructure projects, and coordinating with community/contractors, program teams and key stakeholders (i.e. Kogami, DPTs and Government). Site Engineer together with Community Project Engineer will provide overall technical input and ensure pre-determined quality engineering standards are met during and at the end of each project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering or relevant engineering experience with minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
