JAKARTA

1. Urban Capacity Building & Training Coordinator
The Urban Capacity Building and Training coordinator will have primary responsibility for supervising all aspects of training for the MC urban program under the guidance of the Urban Program Director.
The UPT will be in charge of:
- building the capacity of our partners (Government, INGO, LNGO, CBOs, communities and private companies) mainly in health, nutrition, water, sanitation, waste management participatory programming and other as appropriate, and,
- ensuring the quality of MC’s participatory process with particular attention to community mobilization and empowerment mechanisms that reach effective and sustainable results.
These two specific objectives are the direct application of the Mercy Corps 4th general objective to the urban program.

Qualifications:
· BA/S or the equivalent in social science, management, international development or similar degree.
· Experience in training in participatory programming and capacity building.
· Demonstrated skill in training design, monitoring, evaluation, problem-solving, communication and report writing.
· Strong field-based urban community mobilization and empowerment.
· Desired: Experience in social mapping and knowledge on civil society programs.
· Good written and spoken English.


PADANG

1. Operation Manager
The Operations Manager will manage all administrative and logistics support functions for the Mercy Corps program in Indonesia, with a primary focus on the Jakarta based programs. The Operations Manager reports to the Program Director and directly supervises the Procurement, Logistic, Administrative, Information Technology and Security teams to support Mercy Corps’ programs. The Operations Manager is part of the senior management team for Mercy Corps Country Office and is responsible for ensuring that all operations managed at and out of the Jakarta office follow organizational and donor rules and regulations. The Operations Manager’s performance will be directly measured against Mercy Corps’ compliance to these rules and regulations; the operation’s team performance in executing the above tasks; and the extent to which the Operations Manager successfully delegates responsibilities to other leaders on the operations team.

Qualifications:


BA/S in relevant field and minimum three years of administrative or program experience in a NGO or non-profit setting;
Two years of international experience and ability to ensure administrative compliance with requirements and regulations in a multi-donor office (ECHO, USAID, OFDA);
Demonstrated skills and experience in supervising and developing local staff required;
Experience coordinating travel arrangements and schedules, meetings and presentation of information;
Experience with procurement and other logistics systems including warehousing, fleet management and asset management;
Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
Multi-tasking, organizational, prioritization, and filing skills are necessary;
Demonstrated attention to detail and proven ability to follow procedures, complete tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a cooperative, team oriented environment;
Budgeting and strategic planning skills are desired.

This position for 6 months contract employment.


MALUKU

1. Project Officer – Maluku Economic Recovery II (MERP II)
Responsible for day to day implementation of the MERP project with communities on Ambon and Seram Islands

Qualifications:

Possess a relevant university degree or college diploma and relevant 2 – 3 years work experience;
Experience working with communities and or economic development projects;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
Effective time management and organizations skills including priority setting and responding to program needs;
Effective interpersonal communications skills.
