1. Communications Coordinator
The incumbent will lead overall internal and external
communication, documentation and publication in relation to Mercy Corps
Indonesia Country Program. The Communications Coordinator will lead the
development of Mercy Corps Indonesia Country Program and individual project
communications strategies, as well as coordinate media relations, external and
internal publications, monitor the filing and archiving of newspaper and/or
magazine clippings of Mercy Corps media coverage, advise and oversee graphic
design for urban publications, create both a resource library and an image (or
photo) library for all projects and the overall Mercy Corps Indonesia Country
program.
Qualifications:
§ University degree in mass communication or a relevant field.
§ Prior experience in a similar post or in a communications field minimum 4 years.
§ Prior experience in an international NGO/PVO or an international firm is advantageous.
§ Prior experience in supervisory role is preferable
§ General understanding of relief and development programs is required.
§ Excellent English skills required, both verbal and written.
§ Multi-tasking, coordination, organization, prioritization skills strongly preferred.
§ Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines
§ Highly-developed computers skills, with strong familiarity with Adobe softwares, at least one
(any) graphic design software, MS Office, Power point, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
§ Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team and with other team
members required.
LAMPUNG
The Project Officer will work closely with Provincial
Advisory Committees (PACs) or existing platform and Sub District Working Group
(SDWGs) coordinators to organize and facilitate their activities to develop,
plan, budget, and identify potential funding for participatory, local level,
climate change resilience and DRR strategies;. The project officer will be
required to work with a wide range of networking with provincial and sub
districts stakeholders spanning civil society, private sector, local government,
etc.

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Indonesia DRR or climate change initiatives and
urban development; Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team;Experience
in networking and project implementation, and documentation related to
Indonesian climate change issues, and Indonesian government climate change
initiatives and actors;BA/S or higher in environmental sciences, or similar field; Ability to communicate in English verbal and written preferred;Ability to multi-task, follow procedures,
meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members
essential; Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel are mandatory;Candidate
must be willing to travel regularly to Jakarta; This position will be as temporary staff.
