JAKARTA
1. Business Development Specialist
The Business Development Specialist (BDS) will be responsible for all financial, social, and communication tasks, assessments, survey, advising and informing related to the start up of a community based/small scale sanitation business in PUSH project. As part of PUSH, the BDS will work closely with and support the Project Coordinator and Community Mobilization Officers to provide leadership and targeted technical assistance and expertise related to the start up of small and micro-scale sanitation businesses. Assignment will range from market analysis (customer analysis, competition analysis, identification of potential barriers) to the operational set up (management team, logistics, standard operating procedures, marketing, and financial system).
Qualifications:
University degree in economic or related fields, masters degree is highly preferred
5 years experience with economic development in development/poverty reduction program is preferable
Experience in conducting economic research, assessments and surveys
Strong skill in market analysis
Experience with wide range of partners including government and private sector
Fluency in English with proven writing assessment skill
MALUKU
1. Project Manager – WES Project
The Project Manager will work closely both with management and support staff (including finance, administration and program) in Ambon and Jakarta to ensure the day to day activities are implemented according to schedule, budget and required quality. The Project Manager reports directly to the Maluku Program with written and oral communication and budget reports. The WES Project Manager will assist the Maluku Program Manager in outlining a strategic plan for the implementation of the project, including identifying target areas/projects, methods of operation for effective programming and maximum results.
This position is for contract employment 8 month.
Qualifications:
§ Requires a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Science, Management or Social Sciences.
§ 5-10 years of experience focused in the management of water and sanitation development programs involving urban or rural communities to promote sustainable development.
§ Experience in project management related to water and sanitation, community mobilization and government or local NGO partnerships required.
§ Administrative capacity and planning skills to manage a team of national staff over a two-year strategic period.
§ Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written.
§ Effectively coordinate with village, district and provincial stakeholders.
§ Keep authorities abreast of the progress of the project.
§ Excellent English and native Bahasa Indonesia, knowledge of Ambonese a plus.
§ This post requires a high computer literacy with a full knowledge of office applications.
