Position Title : Disaster Risk Reduction Trainer (DRR Trainer)

vulnerability, whatever may be the cause and the environment underlying that
situation (extreme poverty, exclusion, deficient social and health systems,

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the line management of the Project
Manager, the DRR Trainer will work closely with the Project Manager, Program
Development Coordinator, Disability Technical Adviser on the training manuals. He/She
will have to improve and adapt the existing materials and train trainers for
Disabled People Organization (DPO) partners and staff. The tasks in particular
are:

* To adapt existing HI training manuals to the Indonesian context

* To provide training and technical support to DPOs trainers

* To assess the needs of the project’s associates

* To develop a training plan based on the needs and capacities of the project’s associate



DUTY STATION: The DRR Trainer will be based in Yogyakarta with regular visit to the field and Jakarta.



PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS



Essential:

*MA (S2) in Social Science/Management or any other discipline related to the profile

*Several years in DRR project, preferably in South East Asia

*High proficiency in English

Desired:

*Knowledge of disabiliy issue



contract will be for a period of 5 months
