Save the Children US, the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the U.S. and around the world seeks a Manager, Field Program, Pakistan Emergency to be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation in the field in all the thematic areas. He/she should ensure all financial compliance in carrying out program activities. He/she is responsible for setting up sub office in the field; Ensuring that effective and efficient financial and management procedures/systems are established and followed by all sub-office staff; The FPM is responsible for structuring and guiding the implementation of SC Alliance emergency response projects in respective field areas; Ensuring that all program activities are satisfactorily implemented meeting established goals outlined in the original proposal; Ensuring that field offices programs are always in compliance with grant agreements’ requirements and that regular progress reports as required are timely submitted; Personnel management of sub-office staff as per SC polices and procedures, including assist in hiring and orienting new staff and developing ongoing staff development opportunities; Maintaining a positive image of SC and establishing constructive relationships with government officials, partners, communities, and donors. The FPM will represent SC in the field at relevant meetings. The FPM will ensure that all emergency projects implementation are legally approved by the relevant Govt. departments; Establishing security policies ensuring that all staff members are protected from preventable harm during the course of their duties. The FPM will be responsible for maintaining communication contact with the Deputy Team Leader and Security Advisor and for making appropriate decisions regarding security measures.

Required qualifications:

Requires advanced degree (MBA, MPA or MSc). At least 8 years total work experience with 5 years in operations. Good management and sound programming skills are required.
