Audio-Visual Documentation for popular presentation
To document implementation of BO Project in Tunda Islands, District of Serang
and National Advocacy
I. Background
Building Opportunities project, a co-finance project between European Union and Oxfam GB, is aimed to ensure food and income security for poor and marginalised communities in small islands in Indonesia. To achieve the objective, BO project has three primary focuses, including increasing local organization capacity, increasing food and income security based on CBCRM, and improving access to and control of livelihoods assets and adequate public services for small island communities through regional and national policy advocacy.
Implementation of BO project is needed to be documented both in writen documentation and audio visual documentation version. The documentation explains progresses and achievement; opportunity and challenge of implementation of BO project; and dynamics of community and stakeholders. It means that relevant stakeholders, such as government (district, sub district, and village), civil society, and community could take lesson learned from it. Moreover, succesful aspects of BO project may be considered to be replicated by Oxfam GB and stakeholders in designing new project and implementing similar project in other locations.
To create and make audio-visual documentation, consultant or a team of consultant are needed.
II. Objectives
Documentation (Audio Visual) for popular presentation is aimed to document implementation of BO project in Tunda islands, District of Serang and national advocacy on three bill drafts: food; fishery; coastal and small island management.
III. Expected Results
• Audio-visual documentation (film) of BO project implementation in Tunda Islands, District of Serang and national advocacy
IV. Requirement
• University degree in a relevant science discipline
• Preferably a master's degree.
• Professional experience in working with or for INGO’s and NGO’s and familiarity with working with partners and communities.
• Professional experience in audio-visual documentation is desired in particular of sustainable development, livelihood, gender, and advocacy in coastal and small island community
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, local organization, institutions and community members
• Commitment to working in multidisciplinary and multicultural and multi sectoral issues and environment
• Ability to travel and work in remote areas with flexibility.
• Good fluency and writing skills in English essential, and knowledge of Bahasa language would be an added advantage.
