Biodiversity Specialist

Sumatra Rainforest Institute (SRI)is Indonesian NGO/Non Profit Organization base
in Medan/North Sumatra, founded on 2002. The SRI have some programs:
Endangered species & natural forest conservation, community forest building and
sustainable agriculture development in Sumatra and its remote islands.

One of program is Sumatran tiger ( Phantera tigris sumatrae) and its habitat
conservation program, its had been running since 2008 until present and need
some full talent & dynamic person to make this program more strong in future
missions and anticipating project . SRI seeks applicants with experience and
expertise in the following technical sector:

(1) Position :Big Cats Conservation – Deputy Team Leader (Biodiversity
Specialist)- Medan

Qualification:

- Indonesian National Only
- Education Background Minimal BSc in Biology, Forestry, MSc/MSi is preferable
- Preferred medium degree relevant to tiger survey, study, community awareness, mitigation human & tiger conflict issues
- At least 3 years experience in a role relevant
- Good English and Bahasa ( Writing, Reading and Conversation)
- Good Computer skill ( Minimal MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Good project proposal development skill
- Good Leadership and project management

(2) Position : Big Mammals Conservation – Deputy Team Leader ( Biodiversity
Specialist)-Medan

Qualification:
- Indonesian National Only
- Education Background Minimal BSc in Biology, Forestry, MSc/MSi is
preferable.
- Preferred medium degree relevant to Elephant survey, study, community
awareness, mitigation Human & Elephant conflict issues
- At least 3 years experience in a role relevant
- Good English and Bahasa ( Writing, Reading and Conversation)
- Good Computer skill ( Minimal MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Good project proposal development skill.
- Good Leadership and project management
